With the rise in popularity of gin over the last few years the simple G&T was in need to a new twist to give justice to the new wave of artisan gins.
We have been working hard to bring a new and exciting cocktail menu that showcases not just the finest gin of the UK but also a local hero in the form of Chilgrove gin, which is made right here in Sussex.
To add more to the local appeal my team and I have been working with Ashdown Park’s very own Head of Estates, Kevin Sweet. He and his team are working hard to supply us with a plethora of garnish grown here on our 186 acre estate. We have already started garnishing our cocktails with estate grown mint and rosemary and will expand as soon as more garnish comes into season (watch this space!).
Further more our Jam G&T incorporates homemade blue berry jam straight from our award winning executive head chef, Andrew Wilson, and his brigade.
As much as the menu is perfect for any summer’s day my personal favourite would have to be the ‘Gin & Tea’. This is a real British classic using Chilgrove Sussex gin, the finest earl grey tea, orange bitters and classic tonic water!
