Located in our delightful Country Club, overlooking the golf course and forest beyond, the Forest Brasserie is the perfect setting for those looking for a relaxed and informal dining experience. Enjoy a relaxing cup of tea or coffee after your morning swim, a casual lunchtime meeting with a group of friends or perhaps a Saturday evening meal with great food and a lively atmosphere.

Everything from our interiors to our menus has been inspired by our local environment. Our modern decor depicts the local surroundings of the Ashdown Forest, whose influence can be seen fully incorporated in the furnishings as well as holding a pivotal view from our Brasserie, where guests can look out into the magnificent views of the Forest. 

Celebrating locally sourced produce from around Sussex & Kent, we have filled the Forest Brasserie with local, fresh ingredients. This stretches not only across our food menu, with fresh produce from local suppliers but to our bar & drinks menu, which has wines, spirits and beers from local vineyards and breweries as well as locally sourced non-alcoholic options. 

The menu offers something for everyone, with children's portions available and many vegan and gluten-free alternatives on offer.  So whether you choose the 'Beyond Meat Burger' with vegan cheese, caramelised onion chutney and fries or the Wild Forest Mushroom Ragu, we're sure you'll make the right choice!

Open daily for lunch - Midday to 2.30pm
Dinner dining - Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday - 6pm to 9.30pm
