We had our wedding at the Ashdown Park Hotel on June 28th 2014, we had a fabulous day and couldn't have asked for anything more! It was a very intimate day and we only had only 15 guests, with an afternoon ceremony followed by a wedding breakfast.
The team at the hotel were great and were available during the planning process and on the day to give any assistance or advice on all manner of things, and it felt like they really cared about making our day special. The Jacob Henniker Suite where both the ceremony and meal took place is a lovely room and was perfect for our little group, and the team were able to set it up as requested and lay out our wedding favours etc for us so we didn't have to worry about anything.
It was a bit rainy and dull on the morning of the big day, but after the ceremony the sun came out and we were able to venture out into the beautiful grounds of the hotel.
Pimms and canapés were served in the walled garden where our first round of photos were taken, then we moved down to the lake and fountain which provided a great background for a few more pictures. We then headed back inside for our very tasty wedding breakfast and cutting of the cake, followed by a few cocktails in the bar. We even had an opportunity for an impromptu photo with a celebrity who happened to be staying at the hotel with his family for the weekend, a fantastic end to a perfect day!
