We are starting our Ladies Luncheons 2019 with the incredible Queen Victoria Hospital.
Based in East Grinstead, the Queen Victoria Hospital is a specialist NHS hospital providing life-changing reconstructive surgery, burns care and rehabilitation services for people across the South of England.
Medical Director and Consultant Anaesthetist Dr Ed Pickles will give his talk about the renowned history of the hospital famous for its treatment of allied airmen during World War II, as well as providing some insight into the life-changing care that still happens there today.
Camilla Slattery will be introducing QVH Charity, the dedicated charity for the Queen Victoria Hospital. The charity funds important initiatives like medical research projects to find new treatments, providing more and better equipment as well as improving patient environments. The donations received make a real difference to the care the hospital can provide to patients, some of whom who have suffered devastating injuries.
We will also be holding a raffle on arrival at the luncheon to launch our support for the QVH Charity, the designated charity for 2019, with raffle tickets available during welcome drinks.
