"This is a superb venue in which to hold a wedding. The whole day was marvellous and the food and service both before and during the wedding was excellent, making it a truly memorable occasion for our daughter and son-in law. Everyone commented on how wonderful the venue was and on the excellent service that all of the staff gave on the day. The staff truly worked as a team. The guest rooms were all available as the guests arrived, well ahead of normal check-in. Breakfast the following morning was just as good and this rounded off a great event with the 38 wedding guests who stayed at the hotel all meeting up again on Sunday morning before making their way home. We could not have asked for more.
We used Zara, one of the recommended florists and her flowers were fantastic."

'We just wanted to say a big thank you to you and all the staff involved in Charlie and Trev's wedding last Saturday for making it such a memorable and successful occasion.
When Charlie chose Ashdown Park as the venue for her wedding reception 13 years ago she dreamt of a fairytale wedding, you have delivered on all counts.
The food was exceptional, the service was exceptional, the staff's attention to our guests and us was exceptional and the ambience was what dreams are made of. All of our guests, without exception, were completely blown away by Ashdown Park and had nothing but praise for the day and the staff who looked after their every need.
Every request we have made prior to the day was delivered exactly as we would wish; your personal attention and support to us and your attention to detail in planning the day is a credit to you and Ashdown Park.

'Please accept my thanks for the splendid service that my wife and I experienced during our recent stay at your hotel.
We were attending the wedding of Miss Natalie Brown to our son, Ian Bruce, on 11th August, but chose to arrive on 10th August in order to allow for a less hectic schedule on the Saturday. We certainly made a good decision.
We found the service offered by your staff was absolutely first rate in all areas, but believe that our arrival experience was greatly enhanced by the enormously helpful and welcoming assistance given by Mark, who deserves a special mention.
On our first night we ate in the Anderida restaurant and the service and food were both first rate and the overall ambience was warm, welcoming and friendly. A most enjoyable and relaxing evening.
On the day of their wedding we were asked by the bride and groom to ensure that the preparations for the wedding ceremony, in the Summer House, and arrangements for the subsequent wedding breakfast in the Jacob Henniker suite, were going to plan. We must make special mention here of a young lady, I believe Miranda, whose attention to detail, and decorative skills in preparing the Summer House, were greatly appreciated (as indeed were her efforts throughout the many hours of the event). We must also mention Richard, who seemed determined to ensure that the delivery of the event was as smooth and enjoyable for the guests as possible. The quality of the food served was remarked on by all - it was excellent!
To single out these few people for particular praise should not detract in any way from the high level of service provided by all your team. I believe that a true team spirit and effort not only delivered but exceeded everything that may have been expected. A most enjoyable weekend!'

We were absolutely delighted with the entire day: The setting, staff, food and even the weather held out! All the staff we encountered on our planning visit and for the day itself were always cheerful, very willing to help and polite.

'Just to say again what a fantastic day everyone had on Sunday. Everything was just perfect: the location, the service, the food and the weather. Ben and Danni said it was everything they had wished for.
Michella and Sammie were a real pleasure to deal with throughout. Their patience and co-operation with my visits and questions, acting as intermediary, was excellent. Trying to arrange a wedding for a couple living in Australia by emails and photos is quite a difficult call!
The Secret Garden is a most beautiful location and Richard Manktelow is to be commended for his attention and service on 22nd July - the day went without a hitch. The dinner and service in the Jacob Henniker was excellent and similarly, coffee and cake in the Drawing Rooms.
Many thanks again for all your help and patience over these last few months. It has been a pleasure to work with you.'

'We would just like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Ashdown Park for making our wedding day the best day of our lives.
From the outset, Gemma was an absolute star. She could not have done enough for us and I felt so supported throughout the preparations. I was gutted when she told me she was going on maternity leave and couldn't be there for the final touches as she really was so fantastic.
However, Michella was just as supportive and knew everything about the day and our plans, even without me having to go over them. She seriously answered hundreds of questions right up until the day and I could not have managed it all without her. The Chef too, was extremely accommodating and having made up our own menu, produced what so many of our guests said 'was the best food at any wedding'. We would also like to mention our Toastmaster, Steve, who kept everyone in check and our fabulous waiter at the top table, Paul, who was just brilliant - so attentive.
Our wedding was fantastic - everything we were hoping for and more. All the staff involved on the actual day could not have done enough for us. Drinks were always flowing, food always at hand and big smiles on their faces...EVERYONE at the wedding was so impressed and we have the beautiful pictures to prove it.
Thank you, thank you, thank you - Ashdown Park is simply THE BEST place to get married!'
